Rory McIlroy’s New Callaway Clubs

The big talk in the golf world this week has been that Rory has confirmed he would be putting Callaway clubs in the bag for his first start of the 2017 season.  This change comes after testing Taylormade woods following Nike’s departure from the equipment industry.  Rory and the Big Cat are clearly the most highly coveted free agents on the equipment market following the Nike bomb so everyone has been following the gear saga closely and this is sure to have other dorks like me paying close attention.

Most interesting to me in the pictures has to be Rory’s irons.  I would be hard-pressed to believe those are really made by Callaway and will see a retail release, but nonetheless, they look sick!  Other changes to Rory’s bag have been the Titleist ball and wedges going back in as well as an Odyssey putter after using a Scotty Cameron mid-mallet the past couple of months.
