Have a Drink Friday – Colonel E.H. Talyor Small Batch Bourbon

Not quite “Golf and Vodka” but we’re going down the bourbon trail today.  Navigating the world of bourbon has become nearly as impossible as understanding the world of craft beer.  No one at Swing Juice claims to be a bourbon expert, but I stumbled across this label a couple of years back and have yet to be disappointed.

I recently found a bottle of E.H. Taylor Small Batch at a local liquor store for $45 and decided that seemed like a fair roll of the dice for a bourbon with great potential.  Long story short, I think you’ll be hard-pressed to find many better bourbons in this price range.  Given E.H. Talyor bourbon is notoriously difficult to come across (don’t get me wrong, it’s not on the Pappy Van Winkle difficulty level), I’m considering going back and stocking up on a couple more bottles.

If you’re a bourbon fan and are looking for something new, give E.H. Taylor Small Batch a shot.  You can learn more about it here.
