Golf and Hip Hop – Chiddy Bang “Opposite of Adults”

Chiddy-Bang-Adults

This week’s Golf and Hip Hop post features a young man named Chidera Anamege, perhaps better known by his stage name, Chiddy Bang.  I stumbled upon the song “Opposite of Adults” when Team North America made it their “official” goal song at last year’s World Cup of Hockey (eh?), and given my love for the weird rockers MGMT, I was hooked.  Most important to acknowledge though, Chiddy is a Guiness record holder for longest freestyle rap.  Check out the blurb from Wikipedia below and then check out the song.

On April 29, 2011, after rapping for nine hours, 18 minutes, and 22 seconds at MTV’s inaugural O Music Awards in Las Vegas, Chidera “Chiddy” Anamege earned himself a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for Longest Freestyle and Longest Continuous Rap…He also mentioned that to earn the record he had to keep rapping even during the two bathroom breaks he took.
